Atelierist
I have a Bachelor in Audiovisual, a degree in Art Education, and a postgrad degree in Arts from Instituto Singularidades. I also have been through many courses in Education such as ''Making Think Visible'' from Project Zero - Harvard, ''Project-Based Learning'', ''Habits of Mind'' and ''Apple Teacher Certificate'' are part of my training as an Arts Educator. I have been studying the Reggio Emilia approach for 7 years, participated in courses, international conferences, and training with Reggio atelierists and pedagogues. As an Atelierista in early childhood education, I develop contexts of experience that promote children's expression through multiple languages.
I work with the Reggio Emilia approach in early childhood education as I believe that children can and should express themselves through different languages and creative media, such as drawing, sculpture, painting, film, photography, and many others. Art, in my understanding, is a strong activator of learning and is fundamental in the teaching-learning practice of early childhood education.
